About Pensiunea Amonte
Pensiunea Amonte is a boutique mountain guesthouse in Valea Avrigului, Sibiu County, at the foot of the Făgăraș Mountains and about 40 minutes from Sibiu. We have 10 rooms and studios for up to 24 guests in an intimate setting, with a hot tub, a sauna, a fireplace, a panoramic terrace, a bar and direct access to nature. The whole property can be booked for groups, retreats and private events.

Amonte is operated by Hostillo SRL, a Romanian hospitality management company that takes over and fully runs boutique guesthouses, with a focus on genuine hospitality and quality experiences. The guesthouse has been open since 2024, and Hostillo has managed it since May 2026.
We're built around a simple idea: a small, well-kept place where every guest is treated like an invited friend, not a room number.

A hot tub, a sauna, a living room with a fireplace and a terrace facing the Făgăraș Mountains, all made for switching off. After a day in the mountains, coming back to Amonte is the quiet part of the day.
Nature on the doorstep
We sit at the foot of the highest range in the Romanian Carpathians. From here you can set out for Cabana Bârcaciu, Negoiu and Suru, on trails for every level.
Retreats & corporate
Because the whole property can be booked, Amonte becomes a private space for corporate retreats, team building, work sessions or family events.
Bruno, our four-legged host
The house mascot is Bruno, a Bernese Mountain Dog who greets our guests. We don't accept other pets, though, so everyone can enjoy the quiet.
40 minutes from Sibiu
Brambura Park and the deer farm at Poiana Neamțului are about 10 minutes away, and Sibiu's medieval center is about 40 minutes by car.

At Amonte, the people make the difference. We're a young, committed team that cares about every detail, from spotless rooms to a good cup of coffee in the morning. We like to stay close to our guests and make sure they have everything they need throughout their stay.
You'll always find us on hand for a trail recommendation, a tip about the area or simply a story by the fire in the evening. And Bruno, our Bernese Mountain Dog, is always the first to greet our guests.

Arrivals are unhurried. The 8 double rooms and 2 family studios are designed for couples and families who want real comfort. Evenings are spent by the fireplace in the living room, or outside at the campfire under a starry sky.
For those who come to get moving, Valea Avrigului is the starting point for hikes to Cabana Bârcaciu, Negoiu and Suru. For those who come to rest, the terrace, the sauna and the hot tub are enough to make you never want to leave.
Food and bar
At Amonte, good food and drink are part of the experience. Breakfast is included in the rate. The bar serves drinks and craft cocktails, including Amonte Spirit, the house signature cocktail, made with fir syrup.
Private and corporate events
Amonte can be booked in full and becomes a private setting for corporate retreats, team building, quiet work sessions and family events. Room for 24 guests, the shared spaces and the mountain atmosphere make the guesthouse a good fit for groups who want privacy and a place of their own.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

What is your cancellation policy?
A confirmed booking is guaranteed on our side. If you cancel at least 7 days before arrival (or 28 days for groups renting the whole property), the 30% deposit is refunded in full. After that, the deposit is kept. The policy applies only to direct bookings (WhatsApp, phone, website).
Can I change my booking?
Yes, subject to availability. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll find a solution together.
